The Renfrew Center Foundation presents a day of hope, healing and inspiration for those recovering from an eating disorder. Jessica Pierce, a Renfrew alumna and founder of Live Out Loud, an eating disorder recovery initiative, will share her experiences and insights about eating disorder recovery. Participants will have the opportunity to share their journeys toward recovery and will find inspiration and motivation through sharing, community and creativity. This event is open to anyone who would benefit. A light brunch will be served, and music and a raffle will also be a part of the program. She is the former Assistant Clinical Director of The Renfrew Center of Florida and is currently National Training Manager of The Renfrew Center Foundation. She has presented at numerous national conferences and internationally in both Russia and Uganda. Dr. Nardozzi provides workshops and trainings on eating disorders and the mind-body-spirit connection in treatment. She has been featured in publications such as Elle and In Touch magazines, the Palm Beach Post and the Associated Press. Jessica Pierce received treatment at The Renfrew Center of Florida in 2000. Now in recovery, Jessica is an advocate for eating disorder awareness and prevention, and uses her experiences with eating disorders, addiction, and self injury to help others find authentic recovery. She has contributed to the “You Are Not Alone” book projects and “I Chose to Live, LLC,” and also works with good friend, singer/songwriter/activist Jennifer Grassman. Jessica is the founder “Live Out Loud,” an eating disorders recovery initiative, and is in the process of writing her first book. She is pursuing a degree in Psychology and Communications.
