To All Observers/Students:
This is Recovery Realm – a community of alkies and addicts in recovery. We have been poked, prodded and probed; most of us have been psychologically “shrunk”, physically near death, emotionally bankrupted. Our brains have been manipulated, massaged, shocked and washed.. Is it any wonder we no longer wish to serve as “lab rats”?
Recovery Realm was founded to create a safe place for those in recovery to share their experience, strength and hope, as well as their fears and trepidations, in an environment without judgment, reproach or analysis. We've been through all that, and we have found that the key to staying clean and sober lies in staying in the solution, rather than revisiting the problem over and over again.
We at Recovery Realm sincerely appreciate the work that you have to do for term papers, etc. in order to become familiar with addictive behavior; however, our meetings are closed meetings for those in recovery ONLY. Therefore, we ask the following of anyone who wishes to observe or ask questions of any of our members:

Please advise one of the monitors (names are in red) that you are an observer, or would like to ask questions.

The monitor will direct you to one of our private rooms.

The monitor will make an announcement that anyone wishing to answer your questions should join you in the private room.

If no one chooses to participate, we will ask you to leave.
